I was so excited to find out that one of my favorite author-duos is back with a brand new series for all of their loyal fans!  “The Heart’s Choice” is the first story in Tracie Peterson and Kimberly Woodhouse’s new “Jewels of Kalispell” series, and what a fabulous start it was.  The story is compelling, the history is clearly well-researched and filled with fascinating tidbits, and as always the characters leap off the pages.  This story also features a murder mystery, and of course a sweet and lovely (and clean!) romance.  

Because I live in Alberta, Canada, I have visited our neighboring state of Montana and actually the city of Kalispell in the past, and so it was extra-fun to read this story knowing that I’ve been to the place where it was set.  The fact that our hero and heroine are both book lovers also made this story very relatable, as well as the details about ranching life.  

These two authors truly work so well together, and I highly recommend anything with both of their names on the cover.  Apart I know they are truly gifted as well, but together it almost seems as though magic happens!  Their talents shine, and their stories pop with vivid settings and colorful characters.  I highly recommend “The Heart’s Choice” as a delightful addition to the Christian Historical Fiction genre, and I cannot wait to read the next story in the series.
