The Sweetest Adult Coloring Book Available!
Wouldn’t it be amazing if our favorite Christian non-fiction books had a coloring book to accompany them? Well, guess what?! One of the best non-fiction books I read in the year of 2015 now DOES have a coloring book to go along with it, and an absolutely adorable one at that… Fans of Emily P. Freeman’s “Simply Tuesday: Small-Moment Living in a Fast-Moving World” will undoubtedly be delighted with the new addition to the “Tuesday” collection: “It’s Simply Tuesday: An Adult Coloring Book”. Do you enjoy adult coloring books filled with adorable, whimsical, beautiful-but-not-too-detailed illustrations which you can creatively fill with whatever colors you desire? And what if this charming coloring book was filled with Scripture verses, and also had an accompanying devotional page which highlighted each individual verse, and gave you ideas and insights to ponder as you color? Simply Charming and a Beautiful Gift!
After taking just one look at the Beautiful Word Coloring Bible, it had already surpassed my expectations. If I were going to describe it in just a couple of words, I think that most accurate would be “absolutely charming”.
The illustrations for coloring are lovely – not too intricate, but not too simple, and there are plenty of lightly lined, or blank spaces in the margins that can be used for either journaling, or for drawing your own personal creations. Since it is a Bible, the pages are rather thin, so I would recommend coloring with pencil crayons rather than markers, but the pages are still thicker than a regular Bible. A pretty, light blue ribbon marker, and a lovely presentation page make this Bible ideal to be given as a gift, or simply for your own enjoyment. I also appreciate that it is in the NIV translation.
All in all, I highly recommend the Beautiful Word Bible, whether it is for yourself, or to give as a gift. It is charming to say the least, and will undoubtedly be a wonderful addition to your devotional time, artistic endeavors, or anything else you choose!

When I was recently given the opportunity to review a new coloring book entitled Majestic Mandalas by Orna Ben-Shoshan, I had no idea what to expect. You can imagine my surprise when I received a large, thick, 12”x12” package in the mail, and opened it to discover one of the most beautiful, high-quality coloring books I have ever seen!
