A Fitting Conclusion to a Fun Series

Every-Bride-Has-Her-Day-by-Janice-ThompsonThe ending to an enjoyable Christian romance series is almost always sigh-worthy, leaving you feeling cozily content with the happily-ever-after ending. In the case of Janice Thompson’s “Brides with Style” series, however, you are also bound to find plenty of lighthearted and laughable moments. Other major highlights include a reunion with all of the quirky but lovable characters you’ve come to know, and the long-awaited (wedding) day you’ve been expecting since the first chapter of the first book.

“Every Bride Has Her Day” is the final book in the “Brides with Style” trilogy. Happily, this story brings back much of the charm and some of the hilarity that were present in the first book, but somewhat lacking in the second. Yes, almost every couple imaginable ends up engaged or married, and yes, the humor does get a little over-the-top at times, but truly this is just how the series was crafted. Although several rather improper conversations also occur, this element is definitely toned down compared to the second book, and is not a huge concern. Overall, “Every Bride Has Her Day” will be everything readers are hoping for if they have journeyed along with Katie and her uproarious family and friends from the beginning of book #1, “Ever Bride Needs a Groom”.

I am grateful to have received a copy of this book from Revell Reads, free of charge, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
