Deep sigh…..  that’s how I always feel when I close the cover for the final time on a series that I spent many hours with.  “Summer in the Spotlight” is the third and final story in Liz Johnson’s “Prince Edward Island Shores” series, and it is rather bittersweet to know that I will no longer be following the saga of the Ross brothers and “their girls”.  

This final story definitely features my favorite of the Ross brothers, and watching his romance unfold was sweet and enjoyable.  Kelsey was a lovely character to get to know as well, and the unique aspect of a fundraising play added to the overall charm.  

Of course for me, one of the biggest draws of the series was the primary character who kept to the background – the Island itself!  I so want to visit this dreamy part of Canada someday, but until then I love visiting in my imagination.  This setting, combined with a clean and sweet romance, made this story (and the entire series) an enjoyable contemporary saga that I certainly recommend.
