On the downside, occasional poems tend to drift in directions that Christians striving for purity of thought may be uncomfortable with. Other selections simply may not resonate with all readers. As with all books, readers must exercise discernment, separate the inspiring from the disheartening, and always remember to contemplate about the true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy segments, as Paul advises us in Philippians 4:8.
