It’s shoebox-packing time!  Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week is November 14th – 20th…  Below is a picture of a couple of the shoeboxes we packed this year, and we can’t encourage you enough to get involved as well.  As Samaritan’s Purse explains:

“When you pack shoeboxes, Operation Christmas Child works with churches around the world to deliver them to children living in war, poverty, and disaster.  Each box is a powerful expression of hope, joy, and love – but that’s only the beginning.  Shoeboxes open the door for children to hear about God’s greatest gift – Jesus Christ. 

After receiving a shoebox, many children choose to participate in ‘The Greatest Journey’, an exciting Bible study program to learn more about following Jesus and sharing the Good News with others.”
