A Terrific Start to the “Hearts of Montana” Series – Guest Review by Hayley

“Hope’s Highest Mountain” is the first in the new “Hearts of Montana” series, and what a start it was!

I loved the adventurous nature of the story… you’re bound to run into adventure when trekking through the mountains for weeks on end!  One unique aspect of this book is that for the majority of the story, there are only four characters!  Yet it is never boring, which must mean that this author is truly talented.

This story has so many elements to it: heartbreak, hope, trust, faith, relying on God for strength, and so much more.  Truly it is inspiring to watch the characters grow throughout the book in ways that any one of us can relate to and learn from.

Perhaps one of the most obvious messages portrayed in the book is that of healing.  One of the main characters suffers from devastating losses, and his journey of healing, much like his journey through the mountains, is filled with ups and downs that we can all learn from.

“Hope’s Highest Mountain” is a wonderful historical romantic fiction novel, that I am so glad to have read, and I believe you will be glad if you read it too.
