A New Favorite Bible!

Do you love exploring new editions of the Bible, sometimes in different versions and usually with different distinguishing features? I know I do! The newest Bible that I’ve had the pleasure of using is “The Woman’s NIV Study Bible: Receiving God’s Truth for Balance, Hope, and Transformation”. Published by Thomas Nelson in 2018, this lovely edition was edited by Dorothy Kelley Patterson and Rhonda Harrington Kelley, and is truly a keepsake Bible that will become a treasured possession to many women. A Beautiful Treasure – Guest Review by Hayley

The Title Says it All

All About One Name.” The title of this new NIV Bible grabbed my attention right away, and when I saw the descriptions of the study features included inside I knew it would be a special volume. Featured in this Bible are essays by Louie Giglio, Max Lucado, John Piper, Ravi Zacharias, and Randy Alcorn on the overarching narrative of Scripture, plus the sidebars contain numerous articles discussing the revelation of Jesus through each book of the Bible. Introductions to each of the sixty-six books are designed to highlight the ever-present story of Jesus in every page of Scripture, and to help us understand the purpose of each individual author in pointing us towards Him.
