When I was recently given the opportunity to review a new coloring book entitled Majestic Mandalas by Orna Ben-Shoshan, I had no idea what to expect. You can imagine my surprise when I received a large, thick, 12”x12” package in the mail, and opened it to discover one of the most beautiful, high-quality coloring books I have ever seen! As the subtitle explains, it is truly “A rich assortment of super-size theme mandalas for coloring fun and relaxation”.

Majestic Mandalas is a premium-quality, handmade book printed on heavy-weight paper, and containing 30 mandalas of various themes. Truly it holds something for everyone! From butterflies and confectionaries to musical instruments and air travel, the designs will tickle your imagination and fill you with ideas to get started coloring or painting. Clearly much thought and insight went into the design of each image, as each one is beautifully balanced and filled with just the right amount of detail, without becoming too intricate so as to be frustrating or overly time-consuming. Also, without exception, the drawings are extremely well-done and professional in appearance.

After each design is filled with color and perhaps framed, the finished product makes an original and stunning wall-hanging to decorate, brighten, and add interest to any room of the house. The finished artwork also makes perfect, personalized gifts for friends and family.
