If you feel like stepping into a Contemporary Romance story that feels like it belongs on the Hallmark channel, you will not want to miss the newest novel by Irene Hannon entitled “Sea Rose Lane”. Published by Revell in the summer of 2016, this story is the sequel to “Hope Harbor” which released last year, and contains numerous recurring characters, plus several new ones.
The endearing setting, realistic characters, and heartwarming story combine to make “Sea Rose Lane” an enjoyable sequel. Although perhaps not the most memorable novel of the year, it contains little in the way of inappropriate content and provides the perfect relaxing escape for a quiet, summer afternoon. Interestingly, my favorite features of the story were the delightful little references to everyday miracles and “angels in disguise”, which gave the story a quirky but charming feel. If you enjoy relaxing stories of hope and love, or if you enjoyed the earlier story found in “Hope Harbor”, don’t hesitate to find a copy of “Sea Rose Lane” and enjoy a peaceful afternoon of reading.
I am grateful to have received a copy of this book from Revell Reads, free of charge, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
