Wouldn’t it be amazing if our favorite Christian non-fiction books had a coloring book to accompany them? Well, guess what?! One of the best non-fiction books I read in the year of 2015 now DOES have a coloring book to go along with it, and an absolutely adorable one at that… Fans of Emily P. Freeman’s “Simply Tuesday: Small-Moment Living in a Fast-Moving World” will undoubtedly be delighted with the new addition to the “Tuesday” collection: “It’s Simply Tuesday: An Adult Coloring Book”. Published by Revell in the spring of 2017, this is hands-down my favorite coloring book. Ever.
When you first pick up this coloring book, you will be surprised at its size and weight. Measuring over 9.5 inches on each side, the pages are thick and high-quality. They are also perforated for easy removal and display. But now on to the best part. . . The illustrations! Each coloring page is adorned with the most beautiful, whimsical, appealing artwork that just begs to be infused with color. While most of the pages are filled with simple designs for easy and relaxing coloring, a few are a little more detailed and will likely take a bit longer to complete. Many of the best quotes from “Simply Tuesday” are incorporated into the designs, as well as numerous Bible verses. Flowers, butterflies, birds, and benches are the primary focal points of the drawings, and as you flip through the book your imagination will undoubtedly begin to visualize your favorites in full color!
Even if you haven’t read the non-fiction book that is the inspiration behind it, “It’s Simply Tuesday: An Adult Coloring Book” will still provide many hours of enjoyment for women of all ages and all levels of artistic ability. And, if you have read “Simply Tuesday”, there is only one thing to say. . . The coloring book is a must-have addition! So for everyone who is looking to “embrace small-moment living in a fast-moving world”, don’t hesitate to give this adorable coloring book a try. And if you are looking for a thoughtful gift for a friend or family member, wouldn’t the set of both “Tuesday” books be a precious one?
