My Favorite Contemporary Romance In Years!

Are you looking for a book that will satisfy your inner romantic and your sweet tooth all in one clean, funny, well-written and absolutely charming novel? Well look no farther than “Sweet On You”, the last story in Becky Wade’s delightful “Bradford Sisters Romance” series. I have long been waiting for this one, largely because I loved Britt and Zander from the moment I was introduced to them in “True to You” (Book #1) and couldn’t wait to witness their story unfold. Although the wait was long, it was so worth it!

Britt Bradford and Zander Ford have been best friends for thirteen years – but unbeknownst to Britt, Zander has secretly loved her for almost as long (a fact everyone seems to know except Britt!). But anyway, without spoiling any sweet details, I will suffice it to say that their story unfolds in the most perfect of ways – even if I may have wanted to shake Britt by the shoulders a time or two and tell her to wake up to the truth!

In addition to the sweetest of love stories (both literally and figuratively, as Britt owns a chocolate shop and many sweets-related metaphors find their way into the narrative) there is a bit of a mystery to uncover… Zander’s uncle unexpectedly dies and leaves behind a boatload of secrets – some which may prove dangerous to those he loved.

You don’t necessarily have to read the previous “Bradford Sisters” stories to enjoy “Sweet On You”, but the inside jokes and cameo appearances by various characters will have much more meaning if you do. Without question this story was my favorite of the series, and is actually one of the best Christian Contemporary Romances that I’ve read in a very long time. Although I’m sad to say goodbye to the Bradfords, I can see myself revisiting them before too long – and I look forward to seeing what new project the talented Becky Wade has in store next!
