My Favorite Contemporary Romance In Years!

Are you looking for a book that will satisfy your inner romantic and your sweet tooth all in one clean, funny, well-written and absolutely charming novel? Well look no farther than “Sweet On You”, the last story in Becky Wade’s delightful “Bradford Sisters Romance” series. I have long been waiting for this one, largely because I loved Britt and Zander from the moment I was introduced to them in “True to You” (Book #1) and couldn’t wait to witness their story unfold. Although the wait was long, it was so worth it! Continue reading

The Concluding Story to a Memorable Series

Do you love Christian Historical Fiction? Does a London setting of 1881 sound just about perfect? And if the story is part of a trilogy, isn’t that even better? If you answered ‘yes’ to any or all of these questions, I know just the book for you! “The Artful Match” was written by Jennifer Delamere and published by Bethany House in the spring of 2019. It is the third book in a favorite series of mine, “London Beginnings”, and tells the story of the youngest of three sisters as she finds her way in the world, and discovers romance at the same time. A continuing saga in all three stories is also tied up as we finally discover once and for all what happened when the girls’ father disappeared so many years ago. Continue reading

A Stunning Conclusion to a Remarkable Series

ladies-of-the-manor-series-imageSigh… I am quite sad. Why? Because one of the most intriguing, compelling and well-written novel series I’ve read in a long time has reached the end. Finished. Over. Forever. Isn’t that tragic? Roseanna M. White’s “Ladies of the Manor” series, published by Bethany House, began a year ago with the release of “The Lost Heiress”, followed this past spring by “The Reluctant Duchess”, and now concluding with “A Lady Unrivaled”. Each of these stories is built upon each other, and the characters, mystery, and basically the entire plot is interwoven very closely. My recommendation is NOT to read these books as stand-alone novels, or out of their proper order, because the full effect of the story will undoubtedly be lost. Continue reading
