You can always count on Mary Connealy for an entertaining story filled with unique characters caught up in a captivating (and slightly unlikely!) adventure – and her new series fulfills these expectations perfectly.

“Aiming for Love” is the first novel in the “Brides of Hope Mountain” series from Bethany House, and begins a saga that I greatly enjoyed – but the key word here is BEGINS… This story is not by any means over when you reach the last page, and I can’t wait for the next installment to be released so I can find out what happens next to the Nordegren sisters and the Warden family! Yes, one romance story is tied up satisfactorily at the end, but there are still many puzzles left unresolved in the overarching mystery.

If you enjoy Christian Historical Fiction and authors such as Karen Witemeyer and Regina Jennings, you are almost certain to enjoy this rollicking tale of three sisters who have never seen civilization come to terms with newcomers stepping into their isolated, wilderness world. Just be prepared for a cliff-hanger ending – and know that the next book will be releasing in just a couple of months… I’m sure you’ll join me in counting down the days!
