I had no idea what I was missing out on by not reading Elizabeth Musser’s novels, but certainly I won’t be skipping them anymore! “When I Close My Eyes” absolutely blew me away. The sheer power and depth of her words, her understanding, her ability to engage and challenge her readers was incredible, and I don’t think I will ever look at the themes of mental illness and grace in quite the same way again. A Rollicking Conclusion to the Fort Reno Series

I have long been anticipating the last story in “The Fort Reno” series by Regina Jennings, and “The Major’s Daughter” finally released in December 2019! As the unlikely tale between Caroline Adams and Frisco Smith unfolds, I found myself laughing, cheering, and learning some fascinating history about the 1889 Land Run of of Oklahoma (there was some serious sneakiness that occurred, that’s for sure!).
