One element that all of Becky Wade’s stories have in common is that I simply never want them to end! “Stay With Me” is her newest release, and the first book in the “Misty River Romance” series from Bethany House Publishers. As soon as I opened to chapter one, I was swept away by this captivating drama filled with vibrant characters and an absorbing storyline. Truly, Becky Wade can write a novel like no other – she is a master of her craft!

“Stay With Me” is a complex tale (as are all of Becky’s works) that builds on many layers of character growth and struggle, plus life-changing secrets that come to light. Heavy subjects including addiction, true faith, the burden of guilt, dealing with trauma, and even murder are portrayed in thought-provoking ways, and are woven together in a sweet romance that will tug your heartstrings.

Without question, “Stay With Me” is a beautiful story that I adored, and plan to re-read and enjoy again. It is not a light and fluffy read, despite the pretty pastel colors and happy couple pictured on the cover. Instead it is a memorable and deep-reaching saga, and I can’t wait to see what happens next in Misty River (although I already have an idea, hinted at in this one!). If you are a fan of Becky Wade, or simply enjoy masterfully written Christian Contemporary Romances with deeper themes, I highly recommend “Stay With Me” – it’s a story you won’t soon forget.
