Take An Appalachian Vacation!

Reading a new story by Ann H. Gabhart is like taking a summer vacation – back in time to the Appalachian Mountains!  “Along A Storied Trail” is the latest trip I took with Ann as my guide, and I enjoyed each moment.

The setting of this one is reminiscent of her other novels, but of course the story itself is completely unique.  It is one of my favorites because I love the heroine Tansy Calhoun, and her work as a packhorse librarian was fascinating!  And, because it is told from multiple perspectives, other characters that step onto the pages of this sweet story also add color and interest and life lessons of grace and growing as well.

Without question, I recommend “Along A Storied Trail” to all fans of Christian Historical Fiction.  It is a sweet romance, filled with unforgettable characters, set in one of my favorite places, by an author I’ve long admired.  What combination could form a better summer vacation than that?
