Are you ready for a peaceful, relaxing vacation to the quiet beaches of idyllic Hawaii?  Well, if so, you’d better look elsewhere – this is definitely not the book for you, lol!  “Elysium Tide” does take place in Hawaii, but it is also a fast-paced, twisting and turning, thrilling and unpredictable suspense novel from start to finish.  There is no relaxing to be found within these pages!  I have never before read a story by James R. Hannibal, but this talented author is definitely added to my reading list now for any future releases.  

The unique plot and realistic characters combine into a carefully crafted novel that had me fully invested after just a few pages.  The action is thick and the danger is palpable, but the humor is also very present and a great comic relief to (temporarily) ease the tension.  The story also happens to be quite quirky and filled with unexpected twists that I never would have seen coming… Honestly, I could hardly put it down!  

If you are in the mood for a thrilling suspense set in the unlikely location of vacation-destination Hawaii, then I see no excuse – grab a copy of “Elysium Tide” and be transported on an adventure you won’t soon forget!
