An Un-Relaxing Hawaiian Vacation!

Are you ready for a peaceful, relaxing vacation to the quiet beaches of idyllic Hawaii?  Well, if so, you’d better look elsewhere – this is definitely not the book for you, lol!  Elysium Tide” does take place in Hawaii, but it is also a fast-paced, twisting and turning, thrilling and unpredictable suspense novel from start to finish.  There is no relaxing to be found within these pages!  I have never before read a story by James R. A Gripping Start to a New Series by Lynette Eason

I only read a handful of Christian Romantic Suspense novels each year, so when I choose my titles from this genre I usually go with authors I’ve read in the past and enjoyed. Another Series Concludes. . .

Why is it that so many awesome series are drawing to a close this summer? A Compelling Countdown to Catastrophe

the-raven-imageDo you enjoy suspense novels that suck you in with the first chapter and keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end, guessing at how all the twists and turns will unravel when the truth is finally revealed? “The Raven” by Mike Nappa is just such a book. Published by Revell in 2016, “The Raven” is actually the second book in the “Coffey and Hill” series. While I have not read the previous book (entitled “Annabel Lee”) it did not detract from my enjoyment of this separate-but-connected storyline. Also, while I am not an Edgar Allan Poe aficionado, fans of the famous poet will be delighted by the many intriguing parallels found in the story. Continue reading
