A Beautiful Devotional-Style Book for Animal Lovers

I am a seasonal/part-time pet sitter, and so the title of a new release from Harvest House Publishers immediately caught my attention… “My Hair-Raising and Heartwarming Adventures as a Pet Sitter: A Life of Fun, Fur, and Faith”! Calling All Cat Lovers!

kit-kat-and-lucy-imageDoes your family include any furry members of the feline variety? If your answer is yes, I have just the book for you! “Kit Kat and Lucy: The Country Cats Who Changed a City Girl’s World” by Lonnie Hull DuPont is a sweet and charming book about a pair of cats who truly fulfilled the title of their story, in both remarkable and everyday-ordinary ways.

Published by Revell in the autumn of 2016, this delightful true story is certain to bring a smile and perhaps a tear to anyone who has ever held a cat in their heart. A warning, however… For readers who do NOT have a soft spot for felines, well, this book might not be very amusing or heartwarming to you. After all, cats will be cats, for better or worse, and Kit Kat and Lucy are certainly no exception!

I am grateful to have received a copy of this book from Revell Reads, free of charge, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Unexpectedly, The Christmas Cat opens with news of the death of Garrison Brown’s grandmother – and the uncovering of her will which places him as the sole guardian of Continue reading
