Book number 2 in the “Prince Edward Island Shores” series is one of the novels I was most anticipating this summer, because a visit to the Island (even a fictitious visit) is always a welcome retreat!  “The Last Way Home” is Liz Johnson’s sequel to “Beyond the Tides”, and tells the story of two characters we were just briefly introduced to – but who now share a whole plethora of history, secrets, and surprises with us. So Much More Than A Pretty Cover

I had never before read a novel by Christina Suzann Nelson, so when I picked up her new released entitled “Shaped By The Waves” I really wasn’t sure what to expect.  I knew it was contemporary fiction about a girl going back to her hometown, and the cover was lovely with the ocean and seagulls gracing the eye-catching paperback… But that was about it!  Boy, was I in for a surprise.
