I wait with breathless anticipation for each of Joanna Davidson Politano’s new books.  When “A Midnight Dance” released from Revell, I was so excited to curl up during a peaceful afternoon and dive into Ms. Politano’s captivating new world of ballet – and then chaos struck our family.  I found myself instead reading this long-anticipated novel in the waiting room of a hospital – and perhaps this made the story even more poignant and thought-provoking.  At first it was a little difficult to ‘get into’, probably because of all the distractions in my life at the time.  But once I was ‘in’, oh my, it was hard to come back out! You Will Be Changed

Published by Thomas Nelson in 2016, this is the first novel by Charles Martin that I have ever read. It won’t be my last! Rarely do Christian novels probe as deeply into the human heart and touch readers in as many profound ways as “Long Way Gone” does. Quite simply, once you read it you won’t forget it.
