I was so excited to see a new addition in the “Restoring Heritage” series from Revell Publishers, written by the talented Tari Faris! I read “You Belong With Me” several months ago, and was looking forward to discovering what would happen next in the town of Heritage. “Until I Met You” is actually several stories in one: the continuing story of Luke and Hannah (from the previous book) plus two new romances – Libby and Austin, and Nate and Olivia.

The multiple stories being told in one book definitely made for an interesting novel, but I also found it a little distracting and hard to follow because it jumped back and forth between characters and sub-stories so often. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the characters (at least most of them!) and thought the story was very well-done. I also enjoyed the small-town quirkiness, and the redemptive qualities in each of the relationship stories.

Without question, I found “Until I Met You” to be a sweet story that definitely made me hope this series will continue for several more books! If you love Christian Fiction, don’t mind lots of different characters telling their story together, and love small-town romances, I certainly recommend this book, series, and talented author!
