Come Along For Another Memorable Visit To Hope Harbor!
Whenever I finish reading the latest (and always much-anticipated) “Hope Harbor” novel, I close the book feeling refreshed. . . As though I just spent a vacation in a favorite place, a place where you know everybody’s story, and where the words “Come home to Hope Harbor – Where hearts heal . . . and love blooms” ring so true. Irene Hannon’s newest installment of the beloved “Hope Harbor” series (now numbering at five, and with more to come!!) is entitled “Driftwood Bay”. This sweet novel of healing and new beginnings tells an original tale with all new characters, though cameo appearances by many of our old friends are regular occurrences, too. Continue reading

It’s the time of year I’ve come to anticipate for four years in a row… when we can grab a cup of tea, find a shady spot in the backyard, and take the journey to the sweet little (fictional) town of Hope Harbor, “where hearts heal . . . and love blooms”! The newest installment in Irene Hannon’s beloved, ongoing, contemporary romance series from Revell is “Pelican Point”, and brings us the story of two unlikely people brought together in a quest to save a town landmark – a lighthouse – and perhaps find healing for their hearts at the same time. I Wish I Lived in Hope Harbor!
The “Hope Harbor Novels” by Irene Hannon are sweet, realistic-yet-whimsical, relaxing stories that are certain to boost your spirits and leave you smiling. In fact, they are a lot like Hallmark movies in book-format, with some extra elements of faith added in. “Sandpiper Cove” is the newest addition to this delightful series published by Revell, and is actually my favorite so far.
As I was saying, if you enjoy Hallmark-style stories, you should definitely plan a visit to the seaside village of Hope Harbor, Oregon. It doesn’t really matter if you read the books out of order, but many characters do recur in each novel and it is enjoyable to watch their continuing stories unfold in the background.
