Jaime Jo Wright’s Best Story Yet (and that’s saying a LOT!)

On the Cliffs of Foxglove Manor” is my new favourite novel by Jaime Jo Wright!  Published by Bethany House in the summer of 2021, this book has just the right mixture of dark mystery, hopeful healing, and dual-time back-and-forth sequences to keep me turning pages long into the night – I simply couldn’t wait to see how it was all resolved!  I also love how it was deliciously creepy and haunting, but it all turned out reasonably explained in the end.   Continue reading

A Lovely Return Visit to Hope Harbor

Each spring I look forward to warmer weather, more time outdoors, and a new book in Irene Hannon’s “Hope Harbor” saga! “Starfish Pier” is actually the sixth book in this heartwarming series, and it feels like returning to a beloved hometown as we once more walk the streets of this Oregon community, smelling the mouth-watering aroma of Charlie’s fish tacos and waving at old friends from previous stories.
