One Last Visit to Heritage, Michigan

I’ve followed the story of “Restoring Heritage” since the beginning, and have spent numerous pleasant afternoons in this little town, revisiting all the locals.  Since You’ve Been Gone” is the third book in what I assume is a trilogy(?) by Tari Faris, and it was lovely to meet a couple new characters and watch their stories both unfold afresh and tie in with the previous developments in the first two books.  An unexpected secondary romance is also featured, and will prove rather shocking as it illustrates that people really can change for the better when they accept God into their loves. A Story Shared with Humility and Honesty – Guest Review by Hayley

One of Revell Publishing’s newest releases to the non-fiction market is “Hurt Road” by none other than Mark Lee, guitarist for the Christian band Third Day.  In a gentle, friendly style, Mark Lee invites us to join him in the stories he has lived, offering us a glimpse into “the music, the memories, and the miles between”.  While “Hurt Road” is a book that can easily be enjoyed by anyone, I would especially recommend it to those with a love of music, as much of the book is written from the perspective of a musician.
