I respect Erica Wiggenhorn immensely, and have gleaned so much wisdom and insight from each of her Bible studies in the past. “An Unexpected Revival: Experiencing God’s Goodness through Disappointment and Doubt – An 8-Week Bible Study of Ezekiel” is the newest of her releases from Moody Publishers, and so it immediately went on my reading list. Not only because of the author, but also because the title and subtitle resonated with me. Continue reading

Take An In-Depth Journey With Moses
Erica Wiggenhorn has a special gift for bringing characters from the Bible to life, and making their stories, struggles, and strivings become relatable to our own lives. Her new book from Moody Publishers, “Letting God Be Enough: Why Striving Keeps You Stuck And How Surrender Sets You Free” is a bit of a deviation from the last three Bible studies she’s written; instead this book is written in a basic 16-chapter format. At the end of each chapter is a section to help us pause and reflect, apply, and pray about the content we just read. Continue reading
Erica Wiggenhorn’s Long-Anticipated New Bible Study Is Amazing!
I have been waiting a loooong time for Erica Wiggenhorn’s new release from Moody Publishers – and at last it is here! “Unexplainable Jesus: Rediscovering the God You Thought You Knew – An 8-Week Bible Study of Luke” is a powerful, 40-lesson study that challenges us to “step into the streets of Jerusalem and encounter the Jewish Rabbi who turned the world upside down.” Continue reading
The Story of Acts Continues
I started a journey earlier this year with a remarkable book by Erica Wiggenhorn entitled “An Unexplainable Life: Recovering the Wonder and Devotion of the Early Church”. This was a 10-week study of the first half of the book of Acts, and was part of the Moody Bible Studies for Women series. I’ve been waiting patiently (well, sort of patiently!) for the second study in the Acts set to be released, and the time has finally come! “The Unexplainable Church: Reigniting the Mission of the Early Believers” was also written by Erica Wiggenhorn, and is a 10-week Bible study covering Acts 13-28. A Powerful Study of the Book of Acts
I am so delighted with the new women’s Bible study series from Moody Publishers! The latest treasure I have found within the series was written by Erica Wiggenhorn, and is entitled “An Unexplainable Life: Recovering the Wonder and Devotion of the Early Church”. In this 10-week study, readers delve into the book of Acts, specifically chapters 1 through 12. As Erica explains about Acts, “(it) is the story of Christ’s mission becoming reality in the lives of his followers. To study it is an invitation for it to become your reality and mine.” Continue reading
