A Satisfying Conclusion to a Fascinating Series

I always feel like sighing after finishing the last installment of a series, as it brings both a sense of completion and a feeling of regret that the journey has concluded. Suzanne Woods Fisher’s “Nantucket Legacy” trilogy, published by Revell, has now come to a close with “The Light Before Day”. The fascinating Quaker history combined with an intriguing plot, memorable characters, and a second parallel tale told through a decades-old journal, all combine to make this series one that I am glad to have read. A Second Visit to Nantucket

“Minding the Light” is Suzanne Woods Fisher’s newest release in the “Nantucket Legacy” series, a unique story filled with fascinating history, a secondary plot from an earlier generation (in the form of a journal), and the unique setting of Nantucket Island in the 19th century. An Inspiring Nantucket Adventure

Although I haven’t read very many of Suzanne Woods Fisher’s numerous novels, the ones I have read are always enjoyable and unique. Her newest Historical Romance release from Revell Publishing, “Phoebe’s Light”, was no exception, and is the first of an exciting new series called the “Nantucket Legacy”. As the back cover promises, readers will be swept away on an adventure set against the “treacherous shores of Quaker life on the storied Nantucket Island”. Continue reading
