Roseanna White is one of my very favourite authors. Dual-time novels are some of my favourite books to read. A dual-time novel by Roseanna White? Well, it was destined to be fantastic from the very first page. Continue reading

A Masterpiece, and Stunning Series Conclusion – Guest Review by Hayley
The final book in a series has rather high expectations attached to it. Especially in a series such as this one, where the characters and plots are intertwined so tightly, each book flowing into the next, and the entire series spanning only a single summer. The final instalment is not only the completion of one story, but of the many tales of each character we have come to know. Continue reading
Anxiously Awaiting My Next Island Visit -Guest Review by Hayley
The second book in “The Secrets of the Isles” series, “To Treasure an Heiress” starts out within mere days of the first book’s ending. We are transported back to the exact time, place, and circumstances from where we left off, only with secondary characters becoming the leads. These books should definitely be read in order, as the second book very much builds on the first. Continue reading
What A Special Story – Guest Review by Hayley

Sometimes there is a book that comes along that truly lifts you up and gives life and nourishment to your very heart. “The Nature of a Lady” is just that kind of book.

As soon as I read a new release by Roseanna White, it very often becomes a new favourite. This one is certainly no different!
The conclusion to “The Codebreakers” series, “A Portrait of Loyalty” is truly a one-of-a-kind story. I had never before heard of altering and re-creating photographs in the early 1900’s, and certainly not in relation to the war effort. I had no idea what crucial roles photographers played in the intelligence division of the government during the war, making this book really fascinating. Continue reading
Masterfully Written… But With a Few Flaws – guest review by Hayley
I have eagerly awaited the release of the next installment of “The Codebreakers”. I loved the first one, and also the previous series that it is related to. “On Wings of Devotion” tells the story behind a character that we know from the previous book, Philip Camden. Continue reading
A Captivating First Story in “The Codebreakers” Series – Guest Review by Hayley
I absolutely loved Roseanna White’s “Shadows over England” series. Therefore, when I realized “The Codebreakers” series was connected, I was thrilled! Not only does “Number of Love” feature a young lady we already know and love from the previous series named Margot De Wilde, but it also gives us a glimpse into the lives of many of the other characters we came to love. Continue reading
A Fantastic Conclusion to the Unforgettable “Shadows Over England” Series – Guest Review by Hayley
At last we’ve come to the release of the book we’ve all been waiting for – the third installment of Roseanna White’s masterpiece series “Shadows Over England”. After reading “A Name Unknown” (which still remains my single most favourite book over a year later), and “A Song Unheard”, I was very anxiously awaiting my copy of “An Hour Unspent” and I can now say it was with good reason. Continue reading
A Long-Awaited Sequel in the Shadows Over England series – Guest Review by Hayley
After “A Name Unknown” became one of my all-time favourite novels, I could not have been more eager to read its sequel, “A Song Unheard”. In this new story, we are invited into the story of Willa Forsythe and Lukas De Wilde, the first to whom we were already introduced in the previous book. Continue reading
Hilarious, Intriguing, and Sweet! (Guest Review by Hayley)
“With the greatest risks come the greatest rewards”. As one of it’s primary themes, this phrase is given many different layers and meanings in Roseanna M. White’s newest release, “A Name Unknown”. Before beginning this novel, I felt rather indifferent to it. I was neither excited about it, nor did I not want to read it. I simply thought I would give it a try, and had neither high nor low expectations for it. What I didn’t guess was that it would quickly rise to number one on my list of favourite books!
