Have you ever felt as though you are not creative? Maybe you feel like creativity is only something for those “artsy types” who are able to understand abstract art, or seem to always get the perfect angles in their photographs. Whatever your life looks like, this interactive devotional will be a valuable step to either boost your creative mind, or rediscover the creativity that is perhaps buried beneath the not-so-great parts of life. A Timely Message
A new release from Revell Publishers written by Kay Wills Wyma holds a very timely message for practically everyone living in the fast-paced world of our modern day and age. “Not the Boss of Us: Putting Overwhelmed In It’s Place In A Do-All, Be-All World” is the response to the questions so many of us feel deep down, sometimes even subconsciously: “Too much to manage and not enough time or energy to do it? What if instead of being overwhelmed with life you could be overwhelmed by Truth with all its grace, hope, peace, and love?” Continue reading

A Treasure of Keys to Unlock New Worlds – “Book Girl” is My New Must-Read Book of the Year!
Imagine a treasure chest being delivered to your doorstep one day. After staring in wonder for a moment, you carefully lift open the lid, and gasp at the treasure inside – dozens and dozens of keys! Each one is labelled with a little description of what that key will unlock, and after a moment you realize that each one is meant to open a door to a different world. Judging by the brief descriptions attached to each key, some of those worlds are places you could never imagine, and others are actually where you’ve always wanted to go. You will learn different lessons in each location, and meet different people, but always you will grow, and always you will return home a different person than when you left. Continue reading
A Getle Yet Powerful Little Book
I have come to adore many of Lysa TerKeurst’s books and devotionals, written on many topics and for women of all ages. With her signature blend of gentle warmth and stories we can relate to, she guides readers to step into the best that God has for them. One of the books that she wrote earlier in her career has now been re-released from Harvest House Publishers, and is entitled “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God: Live More Fully, Love More Deeply, Experience God’s Best For You”. This sweet yet powerful little book is not only packed with Lysa’s wisdom and experience at living a life of “yes” to God, it also includes a Bible study at the end of each chapter to enrich her words with God’s timeless truths. A New Study of Colossians in the Moody Bible Studies for Women series
I have come to greatly respect all of the Moody Bible Studies for Women, as they never fail to be in-depth, Scripture-based books that equip women with the perfect tools to dive into God’s word and discover the truths of the Bible for themselves. “He Is Enough: Living in the Fullness of Jesus” is a 6-week Bible study of Colossians written by author Asheritah Ciuciu, and published by Moody in the summer of 2018. While this book certainly holds to the high standards of each Moody Bible Study I’ve read, it also adds some new techniques, features, and ideas to the mix that bring the book of Colossians to life while teaching us new skills to use in our study of the entire Bible. I have never before read a book on the topic of dream interpretation. That’s why I was very excited to pick up “The Complete Guide to Dream Interpretation” by Marsha Trimble Dunstan. This book is a unique addition to the Christian non-fiction market, and as the title tells us, it is on the rather controversial topic of understanding the reason, message, and significance of these scenes that play through our minds as we sleep.
