(Although October now, it’s better late than never, lol!) “The Heart’s Charge” is the new addition to the “Hanger’s Horsemen” series from Bethany House, and also a novel that can be enjoyed all on its own. Interestingly, we get two separate-but-connected, equally important, romantic adventures in this single sweeping story. How cool is that?!

Fantastic New Suspense Novel
Don’t you love it when you decide to try a new novel by a new author, and it ends up becoming your new favorite? That is exactly what happened to me when I read “Collision of Lies” written by Tom Threadgill and published by Revell early in 2020. With a fast pace, elements of humor, and a plot that will keep you riveted until the end, it was one of the most enjoyable Christian Suspense novels I’ve read in a long time. Continue reading
A Perfect Conclusion to a Memorable Historical Series
Amanda Cabot’s “Cimarron Creek Trilogry” has reached its conclusion, as “A Tender Hope” released from Revell Publishers earlier this spring. Although each novel in the series was a complete tale of its own, the overarching storylines that wove the books together are finally tied up in a satisfying conclusion for the characters we’ve already become acquainted with. Great Writing + Humor + Mystery = A Delightful Story!
What fun it is to read a novel by a new-to-you author, enjoy the story immensely, and then discover that author has already written numerous other books! This was the case for me with a new Bethany House book entitled “For the Record”, written by Regina Jennings. Set in the fictional town of Pine Gap, Missouri, this book is filled with the unique flavor of Ozark mountain life in the 1880s.
